DescriptionBrass; double loop (shorter, longer loop); tuning slide at second bow; six closed keys for the right hand with flat key heads, pillar mounted with spiral springs, tone holes with brass chimneys.

Four crooks for F, E, E-flat and D, and one tuning shank for G.

Free copy of a keyed trumpet by Valeriano Beni, Città di Castello, 1836, at the Horniman Museum, London (14.5.47 / 286). Most details are authentic, except that the keys are closed by modern spiral springs instead of flat springs and the key heads are flat not round.
