DescriptionBrass, polished and lacquered, German-silver trimmings, mother-of-pearl finger buttons, single loop with three bells: one bell is part of the windway, the other two are dummy bells (soldered to first valve casing), main tuning slide at first bow, three Périnet valves, top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by T-shaped plastic lug on spring anchor plate, flat lug on opposite side, single water keys at main tuning slide and third valve slide, trigger without stopping mechanism at third valve slide.

The DEG Caravelle line is a student model; the two dummy bells were added to a standard trumpet. Design and size of the dummy bells is identical with the functional bell, suggesting that the dummies were added by DEG Products.
