DescriptionBrass (body), red-brass (bell), polished and lacquered, nickel-silver (leadpipe, outer slides, water key and upper part of valve casing), red abalone pearls (knob inlay, braces and third-valve finger-ring screw), finger buttons made of British five-pence-coins (embossed ELIZABETH II / D · G · REG · F · D · 1991), single loop, main tuning slide at first bow, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by two unequal plastic lugs on spring anchor plate, nickel-siver-plated brass pistons, single water key at main tuning slide, trigger with adjustable pull-ring and stop rod at third valve, windway 3-2-1.
This traditional looking Retro 'Renaissance' Custom Shop trumpet was the first of Andy Taylor's Heritage series. Taylor's Heritage series combines vintage looks of the 1920s through 1960s with modern trumpet design, making the instruments sound louder than the old ones on which they are based.
