DescriptionBrass, German silver (finger buttons), double-loop body and single loop bell, tuning slide at second shorter body loop, three bottom-sprung Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), alignment by one key on nickel-silver over brass pistons, single water key at first bow, windway 1-2-3.

“Henry Pourcelle, Paris” was a trade name used by the dealer Charles Bruno in New York for imported wind instruments. This valve trombone is the cheapest version of model no. 801 in brass, offered for $ 39.00, in the 1883–84 "Illustrated Catalogue" by Charles Bruno and Son in New York.
