DescriptionSilver-plated brass, single loop, main tuning slide at first bow, four Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½, ¼), top-sprung, spring outside hollow stem, alignment by one round key on spring anchor plate, nickel-plated brass pistons, single water keys at main tuning slide and third valve slide, trigger with thumb hook and stop screw at first valve and with pull-ring at third valve (screw stop possibly lost), windway 4-3-2-1.
According to Irma Calicchio, this is one of only two trumpets with a quarter tone fourth valve that Calicchio ever made. Domenick Cailicchio's daughter, Irma, started as general manager in 1977 and continued the business after his death in 1979.
