DescriptionSilver and silver-plated brass, mother-of-pearl finger buttons, triple loop, main tuning slide at second bow, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by two unequal plastic lugs on spring anchor plate, nickel-silver-plated brass pistons, single water key at first bow, trigger with thumb hook at first valve slide, windway 3-2-1.

Silver mouthpiece, stamped: BENGE // 7C.

Originally designed by Benge's foreman Lou Duda, this PKT-SP model pocket trumpet is also known as "Colibri." This example has a medium large bore. The bell is that of a full-size trumpet, a characteristic of Benge's pocket trumpet models, which have been described as the gold-standard among pocket trumpets because of this feature.
