DescriptionBrass, lacquered (body), nickel-silver (ferrules, outer slides, water key, valve caps, finger buttons), mother-of-pearl inlay (finger buttons), single loop, telescopic tuning slide at straight leadpipe, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem (plastic), alignment by two unequal lugs on spring anchor plate, nickel-silver pistons, single water key at third valve slide, trigger with finger ring, rubber padded stop knob, and regulating screw at third valve slide, windway 1-2-3.

This “Corso Fluegelhorn Model 4041" was created by Prof. Morselli, together with the prize-winning company, Mario Corso. It was advertised as being the result of a detailed study of stylistic design and bore profile. The oval body shape is experimental.
