DescriptionThe Style H-4 was Gibson's fanciest mandola when it was brought to market in 1910. The scroll-bodied instrument, modeled after the Style F-4 mandolin, was available until 1940. Tuned the same as a viola, this instrument was the alto voice in mandolin orchestras.
