ProvenancePurchased by the donor's father, who apparently did not play it long. He misunderstood the concept of high pitch, which limited his opportunity for ensemble playing. Reportedly used previously in the Repasz Band, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is among the oldest, continually operating non-military bands in existence.
