Description3 sections: barrel, one-piece body, bell. Full-Boehm system; 20 keys, 6 rings; Grenadilla wood body; nickel-silver keys, rings, ferrules; wrap-around register key; articulated c-sharp/g-sharp key with right-hand banana key between first and second right-hand finger rings for trill; alternate a-flat/e-flat key for left-hand little finger; low e-flat key for right-hand little finger.

ProvenancePurchased by the donor's father, who apparently did not play it long. He misunderstood the concept of high pitch, which limited his opportunity for ensemble playing. Reportedly used previously in the Repasz Band, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is among the oldest, continually operating non-military bands in existence.
