Grenadilla or cocus wood body with nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. Albert system with 13 keys and 4 rings. Wrap-around register key. Patent C-sharp. Little finger rollers. Barrel, tenons of upper joint, sockets of lower joint, and tunable extension are lined in metal. The body has 3 metal C-shaped braces at the joints on the back, which act as guides for putting clarinet together and aligning tuning slides. A metal boss at each keeps the joints from being pulled too far. The tuning slide extension has two holes that align with the two bottom soundholes.
