This VICTOR trumpet combines features of an early rendition of the 6B model (bottom-sprung valves and brass leadpipe) with a feature of the later 6B model (adjustable third-valve pull ring, now lost). The transition from the earlier to the later 6B model took place around the time this trumpet was manufactured. It was later changed into a Dizzy Gillespie-style trumpet by bending the originally straight bell upwards.
