DescriptionRaw brass, nickel-silver (ferrules, upper part of valve casing, valve stems), mother-of-pearl finger buttons, singe loop, main tuning slide at first bow, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), alignment of piston by one guide pin formed as integral part of stem fitting in hole of spring anchor plate, alignment of whole assembly by one key on spring anchor plate, nickel-silver-plated brass pistons, Amado water keys at main tuning slide and third valve slide, trigger with pull-ring at first valve and with pull-ring and ligature-stop-screw at third valve, windway 3-2-1.

Custom made for Joe Utley two years after Monette began manufacturing in May 1983. This model M, later known as Classic B-flat trumpet, was Monette's first trumpet design. Although conventional in appearance, it is heavier than a normal trumpet with the intent to give a high degree of clarity and resonance to the sound.
