DescriptionBrass, single loop, U-shaped internal crooks.

Brass mouthpiece with large cup (contemporary with the instrument but not original); six internal crooks also serving as main tuning slide: F (stamped “1. F..”), E (stamped “1 E”), E-flat (with small coil, stamped “1 DIS”), D (with one large coil, stamped “1 D”), C (with one large coil, stamped “1 C”), B-flat (two large coils, stamped “1 B”).

This is the second trumpet of the pair NMM 07131 and 07132, the larger mouthpiece may indicate that it was used for lower register playing.
