DescriptionBrass, leadpipe of different alloy than the rest (more copper content), nickel-silver (inner slides, valve caps and finger buttons), mother-of-pearl inlay (finger buttons), single loop, main tuning slide at first bow, three Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½), top-sprung, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by two unequal lugs on spring anchor plate, nickel-silver pistons, valve casings with sleeves, balanced action, water keys at main tuning slide and third valve slide, trigger with pull-ring at third valve, windway 3-2-1.
Henri Selmer Paris was under the directorship of Maurice Selmer (1891-1961). Valve design based on US Patent 2,181,346.
