DescriptionBrass; conical tubing in twenty-two spiraling coils (eleven down and eleven up, alternating); main tuning slide at small U-turn that connects the downward with the upward spirals; two rings for sling, one located at tuning slide.

Later model Trompe de Lorraine without leather cover. Both models, the covered and the uncovered, are illustrated side by side in a catalogue of the Paris firm Millereau from 1910, providing a basis for dating.
