Width from very end of bell to end of mouthpiece = 680 mmProvenancePreviously owned and played by Tom Brown of The Six Brown Brothers minstrel group. In 1933, Brown gave the instrument to Dr. Hewitt Waggener, Los Angeles, California, following the dissolution of the group. This instrument was used for all of the Brown Brothers’ recordings made ca. 1915-1920. Waggener donated the instrument to the Cecil B. Leeson Collection, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.
