DescriptionWood shell (Scots pine) and rims, painted red. Rims each with nine drilled holes through which the rope passes. Rope tension with five extant leather tugs. Metal screw strainer.

ProvenancePurchased in 2004 from Warren J. Kooiker, Madison, South Dakota. Owned for generations by the Fjerestad family and, likely, brought to South Dakota in the late 1880s or early 1890s by Andrew Pedersson Fjerestad. Sold at an estate sale about 2000.
