Janssen piano fitted with a Howe-Way 6-6 experimental keyboard.
Piano: upright grand piano. Round, column legs, rounded corners. The instrument has been refinished in an “antique white/stone” finish. Three pedals: una corda, sostenuto, and sustain. Original keyboard removed and refitted with Howe-Way keyboard by donor.
Keyboard: Each octave contains 6 white keys, 3 black raised keys, and 3 red raised keys. AAA-c-5 (7+ octaves). Plastic key tops. Black and red keys are more narrow than traditional black keys on a piano.
