Peghead: integral with neck, but reinforced on front and back of head with brown-stained pearwood; veneered on face with brown-stained pearwood over plain maple; mother-of-pearl and nickel-silver inlay comprised of a lyre, pedestal, flower, and star; mother-of-pearl block inlays around outside edge
Fingerboard: brown-stained pearwood faced with ebony over plain maple veneer bound in white celluloid; 17 nickel-silver frets; space behind each fret inlaid with white mother-of-pearl blocks with additional gray mother-of-pearl abstract decorative inlays behind 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 17th frets, and between 17th fret and body
Heel cap: mother-of-pearl
Head: white matte plastic Remo head
Rim: spun nickel-silver over red-orange-varnished maple
Dowel stick: orange-red varnished maple veneered on back with dark-brown-stained maple or pearwood
Bracket hooks: 30 nickel-plated brass
Shoes: nickel-plated brass
Tension hoop: nickel-plated brass with 22 notches; outside with four decorative engraved rings and rolled rope pattern in center
Nut: ebony
Tuners: nickel-plated brass tension pegs with mother-of-pearl heads; two heads replaced with white pearlized plastic heads (see patent in file)
Tailpiece: nickel-plated brass (see patent in file, assigned to Buckbee)
