G. Leblanc's "Vito Dazzler" line, inspired by Vito Pascucci's belief that plastic could be used to create low-cost and high-quality instruments, were classic "Reso-Tone" plastic instruments made in non-traditional colors. They were first advertised in the late 1980s. The exquisite lilac color was only offered between 1989 and 1993, perhaps because it quickly faded over time.
