DescriptionThis is the last guitar made by Paul Gudelsky and was partially completed at the time of his death. It was finished by Andy Powers for the Louise Palazola and Mason Gudelsky, Paul's widow and son, respectively.

Soundboard: arched, two-piece, quarter-cut spruce: medium grain with slight curl
Back: two-piece, quarter-cut maple: narrow curl ascending slightly from center joint
Ribs: two-piece, quarter-cut maple: narrow curl
Head: three-piece maple with narrow-curled maple veneer over dark brown hardwood on front; three-ply dark hardwood and light purfling inlaid along center line; dark brown tropical hardwood truss rod cover, secured to front with blackened philips’ head screw
Neck: maple with medium curl; integral with head
Heel cap: integral with back; dark hardwood trim
Binding: none; soundboard and back edges overhang ribs; wide, three-ply dark and light hardwood purfling
Fingerboard: ebony bound in maple with light hardwood strip on top, single dark hardwood strip trim on sides; 22 nickel-silver frets under top four strings, 20 frets under bottom two strings
Nut: bone
Bridge: two-piece dark brown tropical hardwood (compensated) with dark brown tropical hardwood wedge for height adjustment
Tailpiece: dark brown tropical hardwood with bone edging at string recess; blackened metal hardware, secured to lower rib with three large, blackened philips’ head screws
Tuners: six Schaller chrome-plated worm-gear machine tuners with chrome-plated heads
Endpin: none
