DescriptionStringing: six steel strings
Soundboard: sheet nickel-silver; three metal cone resonators; sloped shoulders
Back: sheet nickel-silver; arched with recurve

Head: brown-varnished birch veneered with pearloid
Neck: sheet nickel-silver; square profile for Hawaiian playing; birch core running through neck is integral with head
Heel cap: none; body back slopes inward and is integral with neck back
Fingerboard: ebony bound in ivoroid; 19 nickel-silver frets; single mother-of-pearl dots behin 5th, 7th, and 9th frets; double mother-of-pearl dots behind 12th and 17th frets

Bridge: cast iron with arms extending to each resonator; cover plate has hand rest soldered to top, covering bridge and arm positions
