Three top-sprung Périnet valves, spring inside hollow stem, alignment by two unequal lugs fitting in grooves inside valve casing; knuckled-out porting; mother-of-pearl touchpiece inlays; rod (now lost) used to automate necessary pull out of first and third valve slides for quick-change from B-flat to A.
