body: neck, back and spoon-shaped resonator carved from single piece of wood, (monoxylic construction); stained dark brown/black
neck: squared neck and fingerboard stained dark brown/black, undecorated
resonator: spoon-shaped resonator; goatskin soundtable tacked to body with metal tacks, including one on surface of sound table where neck and resonator meet; 11 soundholes punched in goatskin soundtable, centrally located below string on soundtable
finial: hand-carved, wooden finial as stylized, abstracted antelope or goat, with two parallel, vertical extensions coming from end of neck as stylized Horns; no other features depicted
peg: hand-carved, wooden, posterior peg; half of total length of peg is squared acting as handle; other half is round with split cut into end, extending down the shaft
bridge: hand-carved, light-colored wooden, trapezoidal bridge; not original, most likely added by Arne B. Larson
string: consists of black horse hair; pulled into split in peg and wrapped around peg to secure it; tied at opposite end to vegetal twine looped around endpiece, integral construction
