DescriptionStained boxwood with ivory mounts. Eleven keys. This instrument originally had eight silver keys; three additional nickel silver keys are later additions. The original keys have beveled, octagonal covers and are mounted on wooden blocks. The added keys are mounted on metal saddles attached to the wood and have covers in the form of shallow cups. Originally lowest note: C. Modified to lowest note: B.
