DescriptionA German-style simple system oboe with 13 keys and 2 ring keys. Keys have shallow cup covers and are mounted on posts attached to metal plates which are screwed to the wood. The bell has a complex double flare with flare beads, one vent hole, nickel silver flange, and lip on inner rim. Decorative features include a top joint with turned finial with nickel silver flange and turned baluster and two nickel silver ferrules on the sockets. Two non-automatic octave keys. Lowest note: B.
