DescriptionTrapezoidal wooden frame, no lid and no legs; sides slightly angled in and corners are rounded/angled; plain, unfinished soundboard; underside painted red; brown stained sides/case; 12 quadruple-strung treble courses; 3 double-strung bass courses (between 1/2, 2/3, and 4/5 treble strings, counting from lowest); 54 tuning pins, inserted right side; 27 screws as hitch pins, all with continuous stringing; 8 chessmen bridges, with evidence on soundboard of 12 treble and 3 bass bridges - all individual; two "f"-shaped soundholes, one on each side of treble bridges; short sections of iron wire as nuts, at both wrest and hitch rail - friction secured.
