DescriptionA composite instrument, with upper middle joint and foot by William Henry Potter and lower middle joint by William Milhouse. Boxwood body in five sections, with tuning slide in head joint. Simple system keywork, with six silver keys mounted on turned ring and turned blocks, the channels of which are lined with brass. The key heads are pewter plugs that close over metal-bushed holes, except for the F key, which has a flat, square flap. Ivory ferrules.
