Ribs: two-piece rosewood divided by a ivory celluloid end graft strip with a thin black/ivory border of celluloid purfling (slightly wider toward top than bottom)
Head: mahogany veneered with rosewood on front face
Neck: mahogany
Heel cap: ivory celluloid
Binding: ivory celluloid with 4-ply ivory, black, ivory, black celluloid purfling trim
Fingerboard: ebony; 20 nickel-silver frets; single mother of pearl dots behind 5th, 9th, 15th and 17th frets; two mother of pearl dots behind the 7th and 12th frets; ivory celluloid side dots behind 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 17th frets
Nut: White Plexiglass [see page 40 of Martin Guitars, A Technical Reference, Johnston, Boak and Longworth]
Bridge: Ebony with curved lower edge; angled, cream Micarta saddle; white bridge pins with a black dot in the center.
Pegs: six on a side, chrome-plated steel enclosed tuners by Grover with oval head surfaces and a rectangular plate outline
Endpin: white plastic with a black dot
Rosette: wide band of 9-ply ivory and black celluloid strips, surrounded on each side with another, thinner band of 5-ply black and ivory alternating strips, with natural wood in between
Pick guard: black acetate
Varnish: clear gloss nitrocellulose lacquer
Linings: kerfed mahogany
Neck block: mahogany; chamfered corners
End block: mahogany; chamfered corners
Top braces: spruce X-brace [no scalloping], the joint of main cross brace reinforced with off-white canvas; maple bridge plate
