DescriptionThree-manual "Lizst" reed organ. The designation, "Liszt," refers to the large-sized reeds, and the C-c4 compass.

Case: Walnut, heavy Eastlake style. The painted, wooden pipe facade is from a two-manual Mason & Hamlin organ, ca. 1880.

Three, 61-note manuals. Compass: C-c4, split point at B tenor C1.
Pedalboard, 30 notes. Compass: C-F1

Choir 16, 8, 8, 4 in the treble. 8, 8, 4, 2 + 2 in the bass.
Swell: 8, 4, and mutes in the treble. 8, 4, one mute in the bass.

Pedal: 32, 16, 8.

ProvenanceThe organ was originally exported to a customer in England ca. 1898; about 80 years later it was shipped to The Netherlands. Around 1998 the organ was shipped to Dr. James Leslie Boeringer, Silver Spring, Maryland. (In the 1950s-at least 1967, Dr. James Boeringer was Professor and University Organist at the University of South Dakota.)
