DescriptionStringing: four nylon strings
Soundboard: two-piece, book-matched, slab-cut koa with large knots in lower bouts
Back: two-piece, slab-cut koa; center strip comprised of black wood and koa strips
Sides: one-piece, quarter-cut koa; bottom ribs divided by strip of alternating black wood and koa squares
Head: koa veneered in dark brown tropical hardwood; integral with neck
Neck: koa; integral with head; neck heel separate pice
Heel cap: none
Binding: alternating black wood and koa squares with light hardwood strip on inside edge on top; on top only
Fretboard: African blackwood; 18 nickel-silver T-frets; imitation mother-of-pearl plastic dots behind 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th frets and white plastic side dots in same positions
Nut: white translucent plastic
Bridge: dark brown wood tie bridge with white plastic compensating saddle; light and dark chevron inlay along tie bar
Tuners: gold-plated tension tuners with white imitation mother-of-pearl plastic heads
Rosette: white and black hardwood chevron inlay, set in from edge with alternating white and black strips on outside
Finish: clear, matte
Linings: kerfed softwood
Neck block: softwood with knot
