DescriptionThe TX81Z is an FM synthesizer that is roughly equivalent to the Yamaha DX-11, but without an attached keyboard. The synthesizer could generate a variety of wave forms rather than just the sine waves of previous FM synthesizers. Rack synthesizers are called as such because they are usually mounted in metal racks, separately from the controller, which could be a keyboard, or in this case, a guitar.
