Back: two-piece, quarter-cut maple: narrow, horizontal curl; maple pin through back into top block on bass side of center joint; maple pin through back into bottom block on treble side of center joint
Ribs: quarter-cut maple: prominent, narrow curl, angled to left on treble side and right on bass side
Head and neck: maple: broad curl
Varnish: orange
Fingerboard: black phenolic resin; decoratively cut and angled lower end
Nut: white Corian
Tailpiece: mesquite; decoratively cut outline; parchment pieces glued in front of each string slot in lieu of saddle
