Facsimile signature in white on back of head: Tommy BolinDescriptionThis tribute guitar is based on Tommy Bolin's Ibanez Destroyer guitar, of the Gibson Explorer body type. Designed by artist Nick Simmons, it features custom graphics inspired by Tommy's final album entitled Private Eyes. Characters on fingerboard translate “Tommy” “Bo” “Lin.” It was donated by his brother, rock drummer Johnnie Bolin, in 2022.

Pickups and hardware: two double-coil DMT Time Capsule pickups with individual pole pieces and black plastic casings, one volume and one tone potentiometers with chrome-plated knobs; 3-way selector switch with black plastic head
Body: mahogany; two black plastic cover plates on back
Head and neck: mahogany; black-over-white plastic bell-shaped truss rod cover, secured to head with three nickel-plated steel domed Philips'-head screws
Fretboard: rosewood with 22 nickel-silver T-frets; single white pearloid dots behind, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 17th, 19th, and 21st frets; "Tommy Bo Lin" white pearloid characters behind 9th, 11th, and spanning 13th-14th frets; single white plastic plastic side dots behind, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 15th, 17th, 19th, and 21st frets; double white plastic side dots behind 12th fret
Nut: black plastic
Bridge: chrome-plated steel Tune-o-matic bridge with individually adjustable saddles
Tuners: six individual chrome-plated steel Grover covered worm-gear tuners with chrome-plated steel heads
Strap buttons: chrome-plated steel on neck heel and black plastic on guitar end, secured to body with chrome-plated steel Philips’ head screws
