Conn] has also in his factory a department devoted to the manufacture of the new ‘Conn’ drum with corrugated shell, so that it will not buckle, and each drum also has a new and patented tightener. These drums are having a very large sale, and are highly spoken of.” Priced at $25 for many years, this drum was featured on the company's letterhead and could be found listed in Conn catalogs through the early 1920s.
