Eight plastic frets and one plastic nut on the body and neck. The neck and sides are stained dark, but the front and back of the resonator and the four pegs are unfinished light wood. The top of the neck has a dragon carved into it. Four monofilament strings are connected to the tuning pegs and a bridge at the bottom of the body. A slip of paper is taped to the back of the instrument that states “You possess artistic talent and should develop/it for pleasure as well as profit.”
