According to the National Corporation Reporter, Sweetland, Schimmeyer Co. changed to the Sweetland Harp Company in 1912.

In the Piano, Organ & Musical Instrument Workers Official Journal, May 1911, "F. E. Sweetland, formerly piano manufacturer of Chicago, 111., is now getting well started in his harp factory, which is located far out in the northwestern part of the city."
