Four mechanical-linkage rotary valves for whole tone, semitone, minor third, and fourth descent (for the key of B-flat). Three-point-wing device with pin stop; clock-spring return in undulating cases; ratched-and-pawl regulating device with gear wheel. Touchpieces and top-valve screws with floral abalone inlay in mother-of-pearl.
