ProvenancePurchased in 1985 from Laurent Kaltenbach, Paris, France. Formerly in the collection of Charles Petit (died ca. WWII) in Blois, France (Loire valley Between Orleans and Tours). Previously thought to have been in the de Bricqueville Collection (Versailles). Bought by Kaltenbach from Petit’s descendants, the Leroux family.
