Fingerboard: black-stained maple; tapered, widest at upper bout of top, and abruptly thinner toward lower end, the junction between different thicknesses rounded off; minimal curvature; large maple dowels through fingerboard into neck, one at center, one at neck heel; two over upper bouts
Nut: black-stained oak; long
Tailpiece: black-stained maple; grooved carved in face instead of saddle, does not fully extend to edges; rounded edges
Tailgut: multiple strands of thin steel wire
Pegs: three black-varnished pearwood with mother-of-pearl eyes; one ebony with mother-of-pearl eye
Saddle: rolled, rectangular sheet of galvanized sheet steel
Endpin: steel pin with turned groove; finished with same varnish as body
