Thumbhole and six fingerholes on the main joint.Little is known about W. G. Troup. A set of pastoral bagpipes in the Highland Folk Museum (Kingussie, Scotland) marked "W G Troup / Stonehaven / 1826" may suggest that Troup worked or, at the very least, lived along the northeast coast of Scotland in the early nineteenth century.
