DescriptionA three-keyed oboe in stained boxwood. Abraham van Aardenberg apprenticed with Richard Haka, the founder of a school of woodwind instrument makers that also included Coenraad Rijkel and Jan Steenberg. The elegance and immaculate workmanship of Van Aardenberg's instruments are evidence of his considerable skills as a wood turner.
