Description4 sections: barrel, top joint, bottom joint, and bell. Darkwood body with silver-plated nickel-silver ferrules and keywork. "Albert" system with 13 touchpieces and 5 rings (two brille). 1st, 2nd, and 4th rings have small vent pads. Wrap-around front register key. Patent C-sharp.

ProvenancePreviously owned and played by Jack Stafford (d.1962), who was a professional string player in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the early 1900s.
Donor Diane Watkins from LaPorte, Colorado, received the clarinet through "The Horn Project," which is a program in Northern Colorado (run by Watkins) that collects old instruments and overhauls them for students and veterans for about 10% of what the retail cost would be. It was donated to the project by Stafford's granddaughter, Ms. Joanie MacDonald, from Las Vegas, Nevada.
