Soundboard: two-piece spruce, medium grain broadening to wide grain at the edges
Back: two-piece rosewood; center strip comprised of maple diamonds inlaid into rosewood strip, surrounded on each side by light and dark hardwood strips
Sides: two-piece rosewood; rosewood end graft, slightly wider at top, surrounded on each side by light hardwood strips
Head: mahogany veneered with rosewood; integral with neck; slotted; ebony strap button with mother-of-pearl eye on back of head
Neck: mahogany; integral with head; V-shaped neck profile; sides of heel concave
Heel cap: ivoroid; set in from back
Binding: ivoroid; trim on top comprised of angled strips of alternating light and brown hardwood surrounded on each side by smaller strips of the same type angled in the opposite direction, then surrounded by purfling strips; no trim on back
Fingerboard: rosewood; 18 steel T-frets; mother-of-pearl dots behind 5th, 7th, and 10th frets; ivory celluloid strip engraved "HARWOOD" behind 18th fret
