Head and neck: maple: very narrow curl; head terminates in lion-dragon with pointed, mother-of-pearl teeth, protruding tongue, and gold-painted crown and mane
Decoration: floral, foliate, geometric and diamond-pattern inked borders on top, back; foliate and geometric inked borders on pegbox; central inked floral designs on top, back and ribs; two decoratively-turned maple dowels through top above f-holes; ink decoration is under the varnish

Varnish: medium, red-orange
Fingerboard: spruce with brown-stained pearwood veneer and inlaid mother-of-pearl and white celluloid abstract floral decorative devices, divided by triple-strands of white celluloid; u-shaped; bottom end chamfered and stained black
