DescriptionCopper, nickel-brass keys, brass trim, three-piece, single loop, tuning slide at receiver (telescopic slide lost), six keys, lowest key open (regulating screw), all others closed.
Metzler & Co. in London acted mostly as dealers, not makers. This keyed bugle is a typical German import. The design of the tuning slide receiver and the body with seperately manufactured bell are Saxon characteristics of the area around Markneukirchen.
