DescriptionBrass (body and bells), German-silver trimmings, plastic and mother-of-pearl finger buttons, single loop with two bells facing in opposite directions, main tuning slide at first bow, three regular Périnet valves (1, ½, 1½) and a fourth, switching from normal to over-the-shoulder bell, top-sprung with spring outside hollow stem, alignment by one lug on spring-anchor plate, silver-plated brass pistons, single water keys at main tuning slide and third-valve slide, trigger with adjustment rod at third valve slide (finger ring removed), windway 3-2-1-4.
Originally manufactured as a single-bell Ambassador trumpet manufactured by F. E. Olds Co. in 1971. In 1990, a second bell by H. & A. Selmer, Inc., in over-the-shoulder formation and engaged by a fourth valve, was added in the Emde Repair Shop, Topeka, Kansas, a workshop specializing in multiple bell instruments.
