Boosey & Hawkes company records at the Horniman Museum in London list this instrument as tenor horn (British nomenclature) S/P Model 1110 LP BESSON. It was made in a batch of 15 (320482-96), given out on January 5, 1961, and charged out on February 24, 1961. “S/P” stands for silver-plated.
