DescriptionBrass; garland with straight upper edge with punched dots, floral engravings; Nuremberg rim, rolled wire with leaf pattern; ferrules engraved (not original) and impressed (some of them original).

The attribution to Johann Leonhard Ehe II is based on the use of italics for the first two initials in the master`s mark, the fact that MACHT is written out, and LEONHARD abbreviated.

Characteristic for Ehe II’s work are the impressed ferrules with floral tendrils on dotted background. Some ferrules on NMM 7250 were mixed up with NMM 7249 and NMM 7251.
